If you took late-60s Velvets, early-70s private press, 80s indie and 90s slowcore and blended them all together and filtered them through a modern lens this is what you'd get (probably). Absolutely an AotY contender Richard Sanghera

Cindy's dream pop sound sounds familiar, but Karina Gill's songwriting elevates 1:2 into a kind of basement-produced stratosphere. Don't let the sleepiness fool you. At least five of these songs are contenders for my song of the year. nowideau

I love this album and the song styles vary so much that I feel transported to different stages of my life. I don't know where Cindy gets their inspiration but they channel many emotions. I cannot identify my favorite track yet but I am working on it. Can't wait to see them live! jimdowneyglass
